Bill Nye Inspired Grade 4 Science Video
My grade 4 class of 2012 was learning about pressure in science class, so we thought it could be fun making a video and integrating our role model Bill Nye into it. There was loads of edititing difficulties but at the end of it all it was a massive success!
Ratios and Proportions Scaled Drawing Project
Grade 7 Math was assigned a scaled drawing assignment at the end of their ratio and proportions unit. We had some really professional scaled drawings to decorate the class. Well done!
Are you smarter than a 5th grader NIS edition.
My grade five class in 2013 produced an hour long video in the form of a popular american game show "Are you smarter than a 5th grader" which included direct content from all their classes within the year. What a massive project to take on to showcase their yearly work.

Grade 8 Fundraising Efforts
Fundraising is a great way to apply a multitude of skills and also a great opportunity to learn new unexpecting ones. Previews of the grade 8 fundraising efforts to raise money for their year end middle school trip. A lot of student effort, organization, and communications with teachers and staff has been put forth by the students.
Social Committee Events
A good school community strives to include and involve everyone! Teachers work long hard days and sometimes we just need to unwind and let loose. What better way than to have organized events for people you work with that really understand what it takes to be an educator!
